Brady came to NBRAN in January 2018 after being found as a stray in Illinois and left at a kill shelter at 12 years of age. A NBRAN volunteer drove three hours to pick him up. A vet determined that he has a heart murmur. A great foster family was found in Maine who was happy to provide him with loving care for the rest of his life. He is now 13 years old and enjoying his senior life as he should. He is a very gentle soul who loves his walks which seems to have decreased his coughing. After an initial unsteadiness, he walks well. He is now a Patriots fan! Brady takes three heart medications: Vetmedin, Enalapril and Salix. Since April 2018 his vet bills and medications have totaled $2,000. This includes him having a tumor removed during the winter months which was thankfully benign. Your donation will help Brady and other fosters with their medical needs.
