National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a network of caring and dedicated volunteers who have a deep passion for dog rescue and specifically the homeless Brittany, affectionately called a "Britt."
There are currently about 60 dogs available for adoption. You can view all the dogs or search by specific attributes on our "Available for Adoption" page.
Adopting a pet pays you back ten fold. If you are not able to adopt, volunteers are always needed to help transport or foster a pet. You may also choose to donate to this effort on our Donate Now page. All donations are tax deductible!
Once called "the Brittany Spaniel," the AKC has officially changed their breed name to "the American Brittany." A Brittany retains a puppy-like quality in their personality and are gentle, clownish, active dogs. They are great family dogs.
The number of dogs available for adoption varies from month to month. Some of our available Britts or Britts in need are shown below.

Update: Raleigh has been seen by Tufts University. He is a candidate for the intra-hepatic liver shunt surgery and is scheduled for May 22. The estimate is $3000 with no complications. NBRAN is trying very hard to give this boy a normal life, eating normal food and taking some of the strain off his kidneys. We have set up a fundraising campaign and blog for Raleigh so that we can keep you informed of his progress.

Briggs came to us very ill. He was in septic shock and admitted to the hospital. Briggs has been doing better but had a setback today. Right now his bills are $1,600. Briggs is a bright young male who just needs more medical care.

SENIORS!!! ARE THE BEST!!!
|
They did not choose to be homeless in their golden years. They may be older but they are certainly active and have years left to give. No we do not expect Morgan to anywhere…But Barry, Freckles and Smitty are the best. You see when you adopt a senior, you get a wonderful gift, a loving britt and you have helped free up a foster home for another homeless britt, a huge gift to us. Adopt a senior today and you will never regret it!!!
