Jenny was a stray who spent 30 days inTexas shelter before she was pulled by NBRAN. She is believed to be about 10 years old. Jenny was sent to Ontario (Canada) as a hospice dog in July of 2019 as her bloodwork and an ultrasound showed she had diffuse liver disease and possible liver cancer. The state of her liver made a biopsy to confirm much too dangerous, so she is being treated as a dog with chronic liver disease. She was clinically normal at the time of transport to Canada and remarkably, remains so today, likely due to the great care and much love she gets in her wonderful foster home. Jenny is on Denamarin to help her liver function and she takes some specialized supplements but other than that, she is a happy lively girl enjoying her life in Coburg, Ontario with her loving foster family.
