Addy entered our life after we adopted another Brittany 2years previously, Piper (originally Gila). She was on 8 medications and the thought that she would not live 3-6 months and we would be her final home was set early on, we didn’t care as like all Brittany’s she was beautiful, and her soulful eyes spoke to us. Four and a half years later Addy is leaving us, and she has been a cornerstone of love in our family. She opened up immediately after joining us and her sweet loving way with no barking, but more talking was always easy to understand and so cute. She would follow us and our children to be a part of everything, always watching them as a nanny and never missing a chance to go outside and watch them play. My wife and I both work from home and she is our third coworker and known by each of our companies as a member of the team. The void created with her loss will be impossible to fill for some time and she will always be in our hearts, minds and souls. Addy and Piper were both gold standard rescues who took a little love and gave back hundreds of times more. Mitch and Heather Horton
